This program will include some of the same topics as a program presented by Ed Townsend (NWS meteorologist) in August 2023. Floods, historic winter storms and cold waves, heat waves, drought, wildfire, etc. will all be touched on, including those with a climate change signal. Actual historical data pertaining to individual extreme events, for the 9-county area (spanning a century), will be presented.
