Dan is involved with renewable energy project development and finance. He has been working in that industry for the last 15+ years – from private Islands in the Caribbean to Indian Reservations in California. He works for a company called StraightUp Solar. He and his employer often work on community solar projects – they have a $14M community solar project going now in Illinois that will be almost 4 years from start of development to energization. Dan will discuss residential solar, community solar (current emphasis for Pendleton, for example) and how the new IRA grants factor into the equation.
